Buying online has become part of our life under quarantine. We’re not just on to small purchases like clothes, groceries, & any other stuff that we wanted to buy online. Moreover, Big-ticket items such as houses, cars, pieces of jewelry are included in our shopping carts.
It begins with a quick inquiry on the search bar like Facebook, IG, Google, shoppee, Lazada, Youtube & other social media that have become our online marketplace.
While enjoying the benefit of convenience in online shopping around virtual channels, it’s very important to be aware of the risks. The same thing happens to the traditional way of buying properties, there are scammers online that can lure you into their trap.
These are the 3Ps you should keep an eye on:
➡ Price
1. If you think the price is too good to be true, trust your instincts.
2. One approach is to see if the price is parallel to the current prevailing prices in the market.
3. If the property in the listing is far off the current prices, it could be a scam, meant to attract budget-conscious buyers.
4. it could also mean that the listing is an outdated price.
➡ Property Seller
1. Know the person behind the listing.
2. Does he/she have licensed under PRC & HLURB? If not, it might be a scam.
➡ Presentation
1. Does the person behind the listing represent in Good Faith for all the infos he/she posted?
Be cautious. Be a smart shopper!
