โขAtty. Nicholas Kaufman said the former President is in good spirits.
โขAtty. Kaufman asserted that his client, fPRRD, had nothing to do with destroying any evidence. Destroying evidence, Kaufman added, is a criminal offense and it was not done in fPRRDโs request or in his behalf.
โขAtty. Kaufman does not believe that the evidence had been destroyed.
โขAtty. Kaufman called Atty. Kristina Contiโs recent pronouncements on fPRRDโs interim release as โunethical interference,โ adding the former tried to ignore the latterโs โramblings.โ
โขFPRRD days are occupied with legal and family visits.
โขOn the resolution of the House of Representatives blocking the interim release of fPRRD, Atty. Kaufman refused to make any comment as he does not want to touch on politics, saying โhe is a lawyer, and he deals with legal matters.โ
โขOn the Department of Justiceโs act to offer assistance to the witnesses, Atty Kaufman reiterated that it touched on politics. But once witnesses come to court, fPRRDโs legal team will cross examine these witnesses.
