Inaasahang tataas sa halagang P219.3 billion ang suma total na presyo sa papapagawa ng Bataan-Cavite bridge, naiusod rin ang timeline ng pagatatayo sa katapusan ng Marcos administration sa 2029.

Sa isang Malacañang press briefing nitong Friday, October 13, inanunsyo ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) na magdadagdag ng P40 billion sa pondo ng pagpapagawa ng tulay mula sa orihinal na presyong P175.6 billion at maiuusod rin ang katapusan ng proyekto sa December 2029.

“The changes have been approved to accommodate an updated detailed engineering design that utilizes superior construction materials and a stronger bridge structure. Additionally, the cost was adjusted to account for inflation,” ika ni NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan.

Ayon sa Department of Works and Highways (DPWH), magkakaroon rin ng pitong contract packages ang proyekto at hihintay na lang nila ang dagdag loan mula sa Asian Development Bank para sa buwan ng November.

“We look at the timeframe and the deployment of resources, but I think we are not behaving as if we do this project because we wanted to be the one to inaugurate it. Hindi dapat ganun eh (It shouldn’t be like that),” sabi ni Balisacan.

Sinimulan na ng Department of Health (DoH) at pamahalaang lokal ng Bacoor City ang groundbreaking ng isang super health center (SHC) nitong Sabado, October 14, 2023.

Ayon kay Senator Christopher "B**g" Go, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, balak nito punan ng pansin ang pangangailangan ng lungsod pagdating sa medisina at pagpapagamot at palawakin ang kakayahan ng primary care, medical consultations, at early disease protection sa mga komunidad.

"In going around the country, I have seen poor places that do not have their health centers. Pregnant women deliver their infants in tricycles or jeepneys while on their way to a faraway hospital. Now, you no longer need to go to a hospital; you can have your medical treatment," sabi ni Go.

Magiging hub ng iba't ibang serbisyong medikal ang ospital tulad ng base management, out-patient, birthing, isolation, diagnostic (laboratory: X-ray, ultrasound), pharmacy at ambulatory surgical unit.

Kabilang rin sa mga serbisyong alay nito ay ang mga sumusunod: eye, ear, nose and throat (EENT) service, oncology centers, physical therapy and rehabilitation centers, and telemedicine.
