The Last Stand of Yamash*ta Trail Run takes runners deep into the legendary trails of Hungduan, Ifugao — retracing the historic route connected to General Tomoyuki Yamash*ta’s final stand before his surrender in Kiangan in 1945. This is a journey through history, culture, and the untamed beauty of the Cordilleras.

Experience the challenge of Mt. Napulawan (2,642 MASL), the highest peak of Hungduan, with breathtaking views of Mt. Pulag, Mt. Amuyao, and Mt. Polis. Conquer rugged mountain paths, steep climbs, pine-covered trails, rice terraces, and mossy forest, surrounded by the world-famous Hapao Rice Terraces.
