Housekeeping is definitely not an easy task. It takes time as you make sure the place is tidy and clean - no strand of hair on the sheets, floor, or bed. Tiny bits of dust from the furniture and windowsills have to be wiped away. The filter of the ACU has to be regularly cleaned too. A sweeper or a floor mop drenched with vinegar solution is an effective tool in cleaning and removing odor from the floor. Of course, this does not include the meticulous routine in cleaning the CR/shower room. Housekeeping is tiring but it is calming to the mind.

Unpacking items that I bought from Gaisano Mall. New plates and bowls with botanical prints, teaspoons, and glasses. Some plates have chipped already, teaspoons that I bought online are too petite 😊, and glasses dwindled 😊; hence the need for replacement. We need to improve our inventory, I know. Asking payment for damages from the guests through the booking platform is easy, however looking up for the receipt of the damage item in the file is difficult unless it has a softcopy. So, record keeping needs to be improved too.

A quick tour of JD&S Unit 4 which is situated at the rear end of the property, located on the second floor. When I decorate our rooms I play around with colors that contrast or that complement, and sometimes with colors that go together or are cohesive like in this unit where I played with neutral colors such as cream, soft beige, yellow, pink, mocha, grey, and white. The light brown bed linens, orange-brown lap blanket, and soft mustard throw pillows added natural warmth to the space.

Sarah Wurtzbach, a social media influencer and sister of Pia Wurtzbach stayed in this unit for three nights to visit her family that she has not seen for nine years. I thank her for her pleasant review of Unit 4. Soon, I will be posting her comments 😊

We have repaired and repainted our gate after more than three years in operation. Nothing can really beat the strength of a male dog's urine. Our rescues are female and each time their male friend visits them, he leaves a shower of his urine on the wall of the gate.

Our apartment units are a collection of things we love from travels and from finds that we purchased many years back. We never thought back then that we could use these items in JD&S Apartment Suites - a project that I thought was far-fetched. But, God made it happen 🙏. The graces that we need from planning to implementation were all due to Him 🙏🙏🙏.
