INFLATION IS REAL!!!😩

𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝟵.𝟳% 𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘

The prices of goods and services in the province of Iloilo continued to rise in August, pushing inflation to 9.7%, higher than the 9.3% recorded in July, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

The increase was mainly driven by the rising cost of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, which reached 10.8% in August, up from 9.6% in July.

This group accounted for 36.4% of Iloilo’s overall inflation, putting additional pressure on household budgets.

The National University (NU) Iloilo logo is now visible on the expansion building of SM City Iloilo, hinting that the upcoming campus could be opening its doors soon.

The new NU campus is expected to bring National University’s educational offerings to more students in Iloilo, adding another major academic institution to the city’s growing roster.

Official opening date has yet to be announced.
