Pag-IBIG Fund, Avida and Amaia join hands to expand homeownership for Filipino workers ๐
Pag-IBIG Fund, Avida Land Corp. and Amaia Land Corp., residential brands of Ayala Land Inc., signed an agreement aimed at bringing more quality homes within reach of Filipino workers through affordable Pag-IBIG financing, in support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โs Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program.
The partnership will explore special rates on identified Avida and Amaia homes that qualified members may finance through Pag-IBIG Housing Loans of up to โฑ10 million. It also covers the registration and accreditation of identified projects for Developer-Assisted housing loan processing, including qualified Amaia projects under Expanded 4PH, as well as measures to streamline documentation, loan processing and the release of proceeds.
The agreement comes as Pag-IBIG Fund further expands its financing options for members. Qualified socialized housing borrowers may avail themselves of the subsidized 3% interest rate, while members purchasing homes above the socialized housing ceiling may benefit from promotional rates of 4.5% or 5.75%, depending on the loan amount. The higher โฑ10 million loan ceiling also gives middle-income Filipino workers greater flexibility to choose homes that suit their needs and financial capacity.
Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta, Avida Land President Raquel S. Cruz and Amaia Land Vice President Aris C. Gonzales signed the agreement, with DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling and Ayala Land President and CEO Meean B. Dy serving as witnesses.
Also present were Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy CEOs Alexander Hilario G. Aguilar, Robert John S. Cosico, Benjamin R. Felix Jr. and Marcial C. Pimentel, along with other senior officers.
The agreement is part of continuing efforts by DHSUD and Pag-IBIG Fund to strengthen collaboration with leading private developers and connect more housing developments with Pag-IBIG Fundโs affordable home financing.
