What a privilege to have lived in the lifetime of Mother Teresa who was canonized saint last September 5, 2016. She was a joyful "living saint," and she inspires us to be full of joy:
"Joy is prayer. Joy is strength. Joy is love. Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls."
"Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile."
"Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing."
"It is not how much we do but how much love we put in the doing; It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving."
A MOMENT WITH THE LORD
Lord, help us to love and serve You, joyfully! Amen.
A MOMENT WITH THE WORD
"If we love each other, God lives in us, and His love has been brought to full expression through us." 1 John 4:12

Today is the Feast Day of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, who in her lifetime, served the poorest of the poor. She was canonized six years after her death.
"In 1946, while riding a train to Darjeeling to make a retreat, Sister Teresa heard what she later explained as โa call within a call. The message was clear. I was to leave the convent and help the poor while living among them.โ" (https://www.franciscanmedia.org/.../saint-teresa-of.../)
Saint Teresa, pray for us.
