PUBLIC ADVISORY!

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 122 issued by the Office of the President, work in all government offices and classes at all levels in the Municipality of Kiangan are hereby SUSPENDED today, 06 August 2026, due to the continued heavy rainfall brought about by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

However, government agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other public services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant, monitor official weather advisories, and prioritize their safety at all times.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sir JR-Ric Alindayo for his dedicated service and exemplary leadership during his nearly one year of service. Your contributions have greatly helped our school community, and we sincerely appreciate your guidance and commitment.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to SJS Batch 2003 for actively participating in our School Year 2026 Brigada Eskwela! ๐Ÿ’™
Your generosity and dedication truly made a difference in the lives of our learners. The batch generously donated school supplies and even took time to check the pupilsโ€™ writing skills using the notebooks they provided.
They also conducted demonstrations on proper tooth brushing and handwashing, promoting good hygiene and healthy habits among our learners. In addition, they extended their helping hands in preparing our Gulayan sa Paaralan by removing old fences and assisting in the clean-up efforts.

THANK YOU as well to the two policemen who volunteered their time to provide free haircuts to our learners.

Your kindness, support, and service are deeply appreciated. Thank you for being our partners in creating a better and more learner-friendly school environment. May God bless you all abundantly! ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ™

The Mappit Elementary School teachers and staff attended the Turn-over and Welcome Ceremony held today at our clustered school, Tuplac Elementary School.

The program was graced by the presence of the PTA, Barangay Officials, school heads, PSDS in our district, and Hon. Raiza D. Gawi, Councilor-in-charge of the barangay.

In spite of the suspension of classes brought about by Typhoons Dante and Emong, the pursuit of learning remains uninterrupted. Our teachers conducted home visits to distribute learning activity sheets, ensuring that education continues beyond the classroom.
