🔵 SM City Koronadal is reportedly taking its first steps toward becoming a reality as the 16-hectare property along GenSan Drive in Barangay Santo Niño, is now being fenced. This would mark the beginning of early preparations for the much-awaited mall development.
This will become SM's second mall in the SOCCSKSARGEN Region once completed, following the success of SM City General Santos.
Although there are no official announcements yet on the exact start of construction, reports suggest that building will likely commence after the completion of SM City Tagum and SM City Iligan.
At the same time, there are rumors of a possible expansion for SM City General Santos, which may include the development of National University GenSan campus. The vacant property behind SOCOTECO II along San Miguel Street has also been fenced, fueling further speculation. However, there are no recent updates regarding this project.
With these potential developments, all eyes are on SM Prime's upcoming projects and how they will transform the retail and commercial landscape of the region.
