Safety begins with awareness, and awareness grows through unity.
On March 1, 2026, Restia Group of Companies (RGOC) proudly took part in the official Kick-off Ceremony of National Fire Prevention Month in Leganes, in partnership with the Leganes Fire Station and fellow inter-agency stakeholders.
With this year’s theme, “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa,” the event underscored the importance of shared responsibility in protecting lives, homes, and businesses within our community.
The day’s activities included:
🙏 Solemn Eucharistic Mass – Celebrated at St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Church, offering prayers for the safety and guidance of our firefighters, emergency responders, and the entire municipality.
🚗 Community Motorcade – A united call for fire safety awareness that reached barangays across Leganes, promoting vigilance and preparedness.
💃 Zumba for Safety – Held at Leganes Central Elementary School Gymnasium, highlighting the strength and active involvement of a proactive community.
🎤 Commemorative Program – Featuring an inspiring message from Ms. Glenda H. Gulmatico, Head of MDRRMO–Leganes, introduced by SFO4 Pamela C. Paranpan, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, emphasizing that prevention is most effective when everyone takes part.
Restia Group of Companies remains steadfast in supporting the Bureau of Fire Protection, MDRRMO, and local partners in building a safer and more resilient Leganes.
Together, we move forward with one goal: to prevent fires before they start and to ensure that safety remains a priority for all. 🔥🤝
