A month after the energization of the Philippines' First Solar Net-Metered Community, several residential homes have produced an incredible amount of solar electricity and savings.
One of the homeowners produced 374 kWh of electricity through the installed solar solution. Their appliances consumed about 109 kWh of electricity, and about 265 kWh of electricity was exported to Meralco, giving them a total savings of Php 2,657, much higher than the monthly amortization of Php 1,619.
We expect that more residential homes in this cutting-edge solar net-metered neighborhood will produce the most solar energy possible and export excess electricity to the grid in exchange for net-metering credits.
