GOOD NEWS FOR TRAVELERS! 🚉✈️📢
THE FUTURE OF AIRPORT TRAVEL: CLARK TO MAKATI IN UNDER ONE HOUR VIA AIRPORT EXPRESS!
Travelers flying through Clark International Airport (CRK) can look forward to faster access to Metro Manila as the planned Airport Express service of the North–South Commuter Railway (NSCR) aims to connect Clark and Makati in less than 60 minutes.
The dedicated rail service will provide a convenient alternative to road travel, offering passengers a quicker and more reliable journey between Clark International Airport and the Makati Central Business District.
A new Clark Station will be built inside the airport complex and linked directly to the passenger terminal through an elevated pedestrian bridge, allowing seamless transfers between rail and air transport.
Upon full completion, the NSCR is projected to accommodate around 800,000 passengers each day, serving communities from Clark, Pampanga to Calamba, Laguna and significantly improving mobility across Luzon.
At the same time, LIPAD, the operator of Clark International Airport, is advancing the Clark AeroDistrict—a 759-hectare integrated airport city envisioned as a center for aviation, logistics, business, and investment. The master plan includes expanded passenger facilities, cargo and logistics hubs, aircraft maintenance and repair (MRO) zones, and general aviation infrastructure.
Looking ahead, the proposed Subic–Clark–Manila–Batangas Railway is expected to complement the NSCR by supporting both passenger and freight operations, creating a stronger transportation network that enhances regional connectivity and economic growth.
If this project becomes a reality, it will provide significant benefits to commuters and travelers across Luzon. However, it is still in the planning stage at this time.
