Now I finally understand why Jesus said:
“We shouldn’t stop meeting together and encourage one another.” (Hebrews 10:25)
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:27)
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20)
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.“ (James 5:16)
Realizing this, why it is so important to always be present during:
Cellgroup
Weekly fellowship
Discipleship group
Yung intimate group sa church. So we can seek help and prayer.
Matagal tagal na din akong Christian and sa buong week na binibigay sa akin ni Lord hindi pwedeng hindi ako mag-fail.
Kaya sobrang important ng weekly fellowship—
you can share not only God’s blessing, favor and grace..
BUT you can also confess your shortcomings,
you can share what bothers you.
We need to be with those people who will love us and correct us too, who will constantly and bluntly remind us on what really matters in life.
On that small group, you can freely talk about your experiences during the whole week — your lowlights and highlights too.
Again, you have to find those people na talagang committed sa Spiritual covering niyo. Yung hindi din lalabas sa iba yung pinag usapan niyo.
So going back, God knew… Alam ni Lord on how the enemy strikes — at your lowest!
Mental breakdown is real. Alam niya. That’s why HE COMMANDED US, not just a reminder ha? It’s a command that we “don’t give up on meeting each other..”
May power talaga when you meet each other.
Napaka-laking bagay na mag show up ka lang. Makapag open ka. Mapag pray ka nila, gumagalaw ang langit and the enemy couldn’t get to your senses.
