Central Luzon’s New Clark City Attracts Php150-B Investment Boom Under PBBM Administration
Under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the 9,450-hectare New Clark City (NCC) in Tarlac is rapidly emerging as Central Luzon’s premier property and economic hub, securing Php150 billion in investment pledges from local and international investors.
Designed as a smart, sustainable, and disaster-resilient metropolis for 1.2 million residents, NCC has become a prime destination for government institutions, property developers, renewable energy firms, and major tourism and hospitality brands.
Major Investments Driving Growth:
✅ Php12-B Hann Reserve – Hann Development Corporation
✅ Php12.32-B Filinvest Innovation Park – Filinvest Development Corporation
✅ Php20-B Bangko Sentral Complex – Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
✅ Php7-B StB Giga Factory – StB Capital Partners (Australia)
The StB Giga Factory investment was secured during President Marcos Jr.’s Philippine Business Mission in Australia in March 2024, paving the way for a next-generation battery manufacturing plant at Filinvest Innovation Park in NCC.
Over 100,000 Jobs for Filipinos
With these massive investments, more than 100,000 jobs will be created, many requiring highly technical skills in engineering, finance, and technology. The development is welcomed by residents of Pampanga and Tarlac, who see New Clark City as a game-changer for local economic growth.
Transforming Central Luzon Into Asia Pacific’s Investment Hub
New Clark City, part of the Clark metropolis alongside Clark International Airport and Clark Freeport Zone, is a flagship project of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA). Its development supports the Marcos administration’s Build Better More program, spearheaded by Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Frederick Go, to decongest Metro Manila and drive progress in Central and Northern Luzon.
