PROPERTY tycoon Andrew Tan-led Megaworld Corp. is building a new 40-storey residential tower along Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati, opening up about P2.1 billion worth of new residential space inventory at the country’s premier central business district (CBD). The new skyscraper called San Antonio Residence will be Megaworld’s 20th residential tower in the country’s premier financial district, Meg
aworld said in a press statement on Monday. This is scheduled for completion by 2020. San Antonio Residence will have 848 units ranging from 25-square meter (sqm) studio units to 93-sqm three-bedroom units.
“The fast take-up of our residential towers in Makati CBD is a clear indication that there is a continuing demand for condominium units in this city. While Megaworld continues to expand its township portfolio across the country, the company remains bullish in Makati CBD as it is already an established, stable, and strong market for our residential offerings,” said Eugene Em Lozano, vice president for sales and marketing at Megaworld’s Makati CBD group. The new tower is pitching “family-oriented lifestyle” with amenities that include parent-kid B.O.N.D. (Begin, Open, Nurture and Discover) open area, swimming pool, children’s pool, pool deck, dance studio, fitness center, street fitness park, outdoor seating area and function rooms.
