The Umayamnon are one of the 7 ethnic tribes of Bukidnon, mainly found in the Municipality of Cabanglasan. Named after the Umayam River, they are known for their deep connection to nature, rich oral traditions, and strong sense of community.
The Umayamnon people value cooperation, respect for elders, and harmony with the land. Their culture—expressed through stories, music, dances, and rituals—continues to be preserved despite the challenges of modernization.
Honoring the Umayamnon is honoring our shared heritage and identity.
