Kinilala ng The New York Times ang Camiguin bilang nag-iisang destinasyon mula sa Pilipinas na kasama sa listahan nitong 52 Places to Go in 2026. Inilarawan ng pahayagan ang Camiguin bilang isang water lover’s paradise, tampok ang mga sandbar, hot springs, at mayamang lokal na pagkain at kultura, kabilang ang sunken cemetery, eco farm tour, at ang islandwide Lanzones Festival. Malugod namang tinanggap ng Department of Tourism ang pagkakasama ng Camiguin sa prestihiyosong listahan at binigyang-diin ang epekto ng mga infrastructure project at tourism campaigns sa isla. Ayon kay DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, patuloy ang promosyon ng Camiguin sa iba’t ibang travel expos habang pinapahusay ang mga tourist service at aktibidad.
