This 33 square meter hotel condo makeover - believe it or not - was done in only 2 days! With the pandemic uncertainties and lessening of contact in work, correct planning is key. Purchasing and delivery of items was done in a month before turnover but the actual renovation of the space (minimal construction, painting, electricals, etc.) happened in only 2 days.

I was entrusted with this project by my clients who lives all the way from Canada. As we all know, condos are a great investment, and this was theirs. Their goal was to have their unit rented (both short-term or long) and to remain as an asset to them. Novotel Suites, where their unit is located is composed of a mix of residential and hotel units. For their unit to have an edge, they decided to have it designed by a professional.

My clients wanted a hotel type design and layout with maximum space saving aspects. In a hotel type design where you cater to a broad target market, the design needs to be comfortable in the eyes for everyone, wherein anyone and everyone can feel that they are relaxed or at home, but at the same time giving it a bit of a luxury.

By giving it a classic contemporary design, it invites fresh perspective throughout the space. Linking different styles with common details or accents and using bold colors and textures with classic furnishings. These classic furnishings evolve perfectly with sophisticated contrasting tones and layers. Plus, adding a striking feature lighting elevates the mood and the look of the space.

Surely, this studio unit is top-notch with complete hotel room suite amenities including a spacious toilet and a bath with a double sink vanity, a kitchen with complete appliances, closet spaces with a safe and ironing board, a king bed with comfortable bedding and two nightstands, chest of drawers with a built-in top of the line electrical outlet system, a spacious desk, a space saving extendable drop leaf dining table, a sofa bed and a coffee table. What more could you ask for? May it be a businessman or a family, they can enjoy this classic contemporary unit perfectly - A haven of their own!
