STRENGTHENING LOCAL GOVERNANCE IN CAMIGUIN 🤝🧡

The DILG Camiguin and the PLGU facilitated a Third-Party Monitoring visit conducted by Gawad Kalinga across the province.

The joint team inspected infrastructure projects funded under the CMGP, LGSF-GEF, and LGSF-FALGU programs. Through site visits and interviews with local officials and community members, the activity evaluated both technical compliance and the real impact of these projects on the lives of Camiguinons.

Feedback gathered will help shape recommendations to ensure future local development projects remain responsive to community needs! 🏠

BUILDING TRANSPARENT COMMUNITIES TOGETHER 🤝🧡

The Gawad Kalinga team visited DILG Eastern Samar Provincial Director Engr. Jesus Jeremy D. Bagares, MM to prepare for the upcoming FY 2026 Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) activities. Running from September to October, this CSO-led initiative will evaluate 14 LGSF-funded infrastructure projects across the province to ensure transparency and accountability. 💙🏠

Kaisa ang Gawad Kalinga sa Municipality of La Paz sa pagtanggap sa 𝙁𝙔 2026 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙-𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 (𝙏𝙋𝙈) Team na sumusuri sa mga 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙙 (𝙇𝙂𝙎𝙁) projects sa ating komunidad.

Ang gawaing ito ay mahalaga upang masiguro ang transparency, patatagin ang pagpapatupad ng mga proyekto, at tiyaking ang bawat serbisyo ng pamahalaan ay nakatutugon sa pangangailangan ng mamamayan.
