As one year closes and another waits to begin, there is a gentle quiet that invites reflection. A moment to look back with honesty — not to reopen wounds, but to recognize what you’ve carried, what you’ve survived, and what you were never meant to bring forward with you. This prayer lives in that pause. Not as a declaration of fear, but as an act of trust.
There are seasons where God allows us to walk through difficulty so that we can learn discernment, strength, and reliance on him. And there are moments, like this one, where faith looks like release. Like choosing not to repeat cycles that no longer align with who you are becoming. Like trusting that what God removes is not punishment, but protection. That what ends is not loss, but mercy.
This is not about erasing the past. It’s about closing the door gently and intentionally, knowing that God is already present in what comes next. When you place your future in his hands, you are not stepping into the unknown alone — you are stepping into a year that has already been seen, guided, and held. May what you leave behind stay behind, and may what lies ahead meet you with clarity, peace, and grace. 🤍
