OUR STORY
In the early 1960s, Dr. Ariston M. Cortes Jr., then a practicing physician surgeon but an agriculturalist by heart, began Cortes Farms. Cortes Farms produced and sold eggs, and by the late 60s the name Cortes Farms was changed to SELF Farms, "SELF" being the acronym of the produce sold at the time—Salt, Eggs, "Lemonsito (calamansi)", and Fish. With the help of his able and prudent wife,

Teofila G. Cortes, the agricultural endeavor grew and was blessed with some real estate acquisitions. Thus in 1993, Athecor was formally incorporated. WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED
Athecor Land has built and currently manages Athecor Homes in Basak, Athecor K&S Bldg. in Tipolo, and East Covina Homes in Paknaan, all of which are in the city of Mandaue. Athecor Land also shares Villa Sebastiana as a joint project with AIDFAZ Development Corporation and 88 Canduman Place with J. Nitton Development Corporation.
