All guests are required to submit two (2) valid government-issued IDs before check-in.

Cancellations made within 2 days before the check-in date or on the day of check-in will be considered a late cancellation.

Story Time: May we never find this kind of guest again.

Before every check-in, we send our guests the house rules, guidelines, and dos and don'ts. We do this to make sure everyone knows their responsibilities and to avoid any issues during their stay.

We also require a security deposit. This is not an extra charge—it is protection for the unit in case of damages or rule violations. The deposit is fully refundable if there are no damages and no violations.

One guest admitted that they covered the smoke detector so the smoke would not be detected while smoking. Unfortunately, the building uses a centralized smoke detection system, so the smoke was still detected and a penalty was issued.

What was disappointing was that they wanted their security deposit back because, according to them, "it was only smoke." They even said that if they had known the deposit would not be returned, they would not have bothered cleaning the unit.

Out of consideration, we did not charge them the full penalty because they said it was their last money. We personally covered the remaining amount.

Reminder to Guests:
Please read and follow the house rules. Rules are there for a reason. If smoking or va**ng is prohibited, please respect the policy.

Reminder to Unit Owners:
Always provide clear house rules and keep records of all communication. Security deposits are there to protect your property, not to give guests permission to break the rules.

Respect the unit. Respect the rules. Respect the people who work hard to keep the place clean and safe for everyone. 💚
