Last Friday, we closed out our National Women's Month celebration the right way with a real, meaningful conversation. 🐝

We had the pleasure of sitting down with Anne "Marecar" Lim, Senior Systems Designer at Volumetric Building Companies, for our Virtual Fireside Chat: Building a Career in Modular Construction. As our Finance Officer, Mels brings both passion and precision to every figure that moves through Hive. But what truly drives her isn't just the math, it's what the math means: building something new, in an industry that's still writing its own story in the Philippines.

She's inspired by the women who show up every day—her friends, mentors, family—who remind her that we don't grow alone. We grow together.

This Women's Month, we're celebrating Breanna Fong, our Marketing Associate, someone who brings both curiosity and heart to everything she does. 🐝

Breanna is inspired by growth, the kind that happens when you're brave enough to bring what you're learning in the classroom into the real world. For her, marketing isn't just about campaigns; it's about understanding how stories shape meaningful projects and the people behind them. That perspective, at such an early stage of her career, is something truly special.

The woman she looks up to most is her mom, someone who lights up every room she enters and has been a steady source of guidance throughout Breanna's life. She's taught Breanna to be confident and driven, while staying humble and endlessly curious. It shows.

This Women's Month, we're grateful to spotlight Erl Ferrer, our Executive Assistant, and one of the most quietly resilient people in Hive. 🐝

When asked what inspires her at work, Erl's answer was beautifully simple: travel. That sense of wonder, of always wanting to see more, experience more, and keep moving, says a lot about who she is.
And when things get hard? Erl looks to herself. She reflects on everything she's already overcome and reminds herself that if she's done it before, she can do it again today. That kind of self-awareness and inner strength is something worth celebrating.

Her message to women entering construction or any industry that feels daunting: know your capabilities, understand yourself, and remember that no challenge is truly impossible to overcome. The industry may have its barriers, but they don't get to decide what you're capable of.

The woman she looks up to most is her mom—someone whose strength and constant support for her and her sisters has always been a source of comfort and courage.
