The activity was organized by the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) – Region XI under the theme “Ending Global Plastic Pollution,” aligning with global efforts spearheaded by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the 2025 World Environment Day host, Jeju, South Korea.
Team members from Verdon Parc’s Property Management Office (PMO) and DMCI Homes joined other volunteers in collecting plastic debris and other non-biodegradable materials along the coast. The initiative reinforced DMCI Homes’ long-standing advocacy for environmental protection and community involvement.
“Through our partnership with EMB and by actively participating in initiatives like this, we hope to encourage more residents and stakeholders to take part in environmental stewardship—paving the way for a better future and a stronger, more sustainable community,” said Verdon Parc’s Property Manager.
DMCI Homes and its property management teams have consistently supported clean-up drives, tree planting, waste reduction efforts, and other sustainability programs across its developments nationwide. By joining the EMB Region XI’s campaign this year, Verdon Parc reaffirms its commitment to help and contribute to a healthier environment for future generations.
