MARAGONDON IN MOTION
Despite being the farthest town in the Province of Cavite, Maragondon is proving that distance is no barrier to progress. Through a series of forward-looking infrastructure and community development projects, the town is making bold strides toward inclusivity, sustainability, and an improved quality of life.
A planned upgrade of the Municipal Plaza aims to make the area more vibrant, accessible, and eco-friendly.
Features will include native landscaping, solar lighting, charging ports, and enhanced seating. Complementing this is the expansion of the Municipal Hall, which will introduce new offices, a commuter-friendly transport terminal, and additional parking to accommodate the town’s growing mobility needs.
Maragondon is also prioritizing youth and community wellness. At Bucal National Integrated School, a new grandstand, athletic oval, and four-story school building will foster both academic and athletic growth. Nearby, the proposed Playground and Senior Citizens’ Park will offer modern play equipment, shaded seating, walking paths, and exercise areas—encouraging intergenerational connections and active lifestyles.
These forward-thinking initiatives reflect Maragondon’s commitment to inclusive, sustainable development—proving that even the most remote communities can lead the way in progress.
