While traveling from Hidden Cove to Ticao on a traditional fishing boat, we spotted a sea snake gracefully swimming through the clear waters in Halea Nature Park and Sanctuary. A rare and fascinating sight, reminding us just how alive and wild our oceans are. 🌊✨

Calm, beautiful, and mysterious — this moment gave us a deeper respect for marine life and the natural beauty surrounding Masbate.

From 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, witness the incredible journey of a real fisherman of Masbate — armed with nothing but a handmade spear gun and wooden fins, swimming through the open sea from the Pier of Aroroy all the way to Cagpandan.

Catching fish and octopus the traditional way, under the moonlight, this is not just fishing — it’s skill, endurance, and a way of life passed down through generations. 🐙🐟✨

What makes this even more special? This fisherman is part of our Hidden Cove family — he lives with us at the resort, sharing his life, stories, and incredible craft with our guests.

For one of our family members, Kelly, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience — seeing in real life what was once only watched on National Geographic. Truly raw, authentic, and unforgettable.

Today marks a special milestone for one of our very own family member's first snorkeling adventure with underwater photography 📸🤿.. a gift on his birthday.
