As 2021 comes to a close, finding the good in what it has brought may be difficult. Due to the continued impact of COVID-19 and the destruction that Odette has brought, this year's events have created unexpected changes in everyone's lives. The year's ending would usually bring about joyous moments and an exciting list of New Year's resolutions to accomplish, but instead, 2021 has left us desperately in need of hope, healing, and peace. Kicking the year off with New Year's prayers can help us set the best intentions for 2022. Thus, I offer this prayer to my family, friends, clients, and partner developers.

Dear God,
Give us the courage to begin again – to overlook the difficulties, overcome the obstacles, and stay open to the moment as best as possible. Please help us to be patient enough to know it takes time to start over and wise enough to ask for help from friends and family when we need it. As we look to the future, may we reflect on the past and remember the lessons it has taught us.
We shall not consult our fears but our hopes and our dreams. We shall not dwell on our frustrations but our unfulfilled potential. We shall not concern ourselves with what we tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible to do. And God, may we always look to You for strength and guidance. Now is a perfect time to put aside past and present setbacks and failures and look confidently to the new year 2022 and its succeeding years. AMEN.
