I still consider myself a newbie in the freelancing world even though I already served two clients. I still have a lot to learn and I am willing to learn everyday.

But I believe I can use all my experiences and what I have learned from the GVA course I attended to become an efficient Virtual Assistant.

One thing we also need to consider as a VA is how our clients will pay us
💰. This must be convenient not only to you but also to our client for smoother transactions.

Here are some common payment options you may try:

A. Payoneer
B. Paypal
C. Gcsh
D. Paymaya
E. CIMB
F. Wise

What I recommended to my previous client is Wise. You don’t need to create an account to get paid, just provide your details to your client and there’s an option to be directly transferred to your bank and in Gcash.
But payment options will depend on your agreement with your client.

I am glad there are a lot of online websites where we can practice to improve our typing skills. I practice in typingtest.com. It recorded all the results and it helped me check my progress.
I created a short clip on how I do it.

Here’s how you can start:
1. Open your browser and type www.typingtest.com
2. You can choose how many minutes and the mode (easy, medium) of the test
3. Start the test
4. Wait until the results have been analyzed.

My VA Journey started during the first quarter of 2020 when people were not allowed to go outside except for important matters due to Covid 19. I was fortunate to find my first ever client. But I still have a lot to learn in this freelancing world that is why I decided to enroll in DICT’s FREE GVA Course. I am happy I joined because it would be helpful for me in finding clients and to be a more effective VA. 💖
