River dredging is crucial work that improves water flow and enhances the natural beauty of our River Park and Water Garden. But what happens to the removed silt? It's going right back into the community!
As part of our sustainable, zero-waste solution, the fine silt sediment removed during river dredging will be transformed into rich silt loam soil. This eco-friendly approach means less waste going to landfills—and more high-quality soil to cultivate our city's beautiful landscape and support the growth of plants in our very own tree nursery.
This initiative is one of many that reflect Filinvest City's ongoing commitment to green practices, consistent with its standing as a certified green central business district under both LEED® and BERDE standards.
