Davao City continues to prove its strength as a major economic powerhouse, ranking among the Philippines’ Top 10 largest provincial and highly urbanized city (HUC) economies in 2025.

According to the latest 2025 Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Davao City recorded an impressive ₱601.68 BILLION Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at constant 2018 prices—making it the largest HUC economy in both Visayas and Mindanao. 💰📊

Here are the numbers that highlight Davao City’s economic momentum:

🔹 ₱601.68 Billion GDP in 2025
🔹 Top 10 largest provincial and HUC economies in the Philippines
🔹 #1 HUC economy in Visayas & Mindanao
🔹 4.8% economic growth in 2025
🔹 2.6% share of the Philippines’ total GDP
🔹 The only economy outside Luzon among the country’s Top 10 largest provincial and HUC economies

This growth builds on Davao City’s strong 2024 performance, when its economy expanded by 7.9% and reached ₱574.72 billion in GDP.
