Late Night Thoughts: The real estate industry, most especially today, can really be very competitive and sometimes some practitioners even becomes arrogant and easily irritated with people who are inquiring with regards to their properties. However, this post is not a rant with regards to an arrogant real estate salesperson. It is actually about a kind and accommodating salesperson named Joana Estacio.
When I was studying Real Estate Management at the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. In our condominium development class (COCOSDE) with our Professor Miss Joan Marcelo-Diñoso, we were given a midterms project that involved getting specific details about a certain condominium development. Given that there was a Covid-19 pandemic, we were encouraged to just look for online sources and not go outside to gather data. After she announces this to the whole class, in an instant, immediately thought of the 3 Torre Lorenzo condominium along P.Ocampo Street, Malate, Manila.
It came first to mind because it is new development and I know how detailed the Torre Lorenzo Developement Corporation is with regards to their websites. Furthermore, their customer service is just, spectacular (based from personal experience).
On the day that I decided to research and gather different information with regards to 3 Torre Lorenzo, I found out that their website did not contain the information that I need. Hence, as typical as I am, I went to a state of panic. When I eventually calmed down; with the Torre Lorenzo website still flashed in my phone screen, a small notifaction arises. That notifaction said “chat with us, live”. It seemed like a blessing by God. I instantly sent out a chat and a few seconds later, a salesperson replied, it was Joana Estacio.
I first asked how she was doing and introduced myself properly. I then proceeded into asking her if she had the information that I need for my project. In mind, I thought that she would decline because the information I was asking might be confidential for them to disclose. However, she then replied with “can you send me your email and I would send all the details there”. At that moment, I thought that she was an angel sent down by God.
Moments later, my email notified with a file from Joana containing all of the data that I need. I then proceeded into saying my thanks to her generosity and kindness in helping out a real estate management student with his midterm project. Days past and I was able to fully utilize the file that she send me and was able to do my project in the best way that I can. Lastly, I never failed to not recognize her and placed a citation of thanks to Miss Joana Estacio in the end of my paper.
With this, it just goes to show that not all people in the real estate industry is arrogant and easily irritated. There are still people who are willing to give a helping out even to people they are not familiar with. With that, I would like to again say thanks to Miss Joana Estacio.
