As a 23 year old business couple with 25 properties…We are no longer going to continue with AIRBNB as a host. 👎
Nakakalungkot sabihin pero after years of hosting, parang mas lalong talo ang host. Now we’re paying around 18% in platform fees, so naturally, hosts need to adjust their rates para hindi kainin ng fees yung income ng business.
Then scroll. Compare. Next listing.
At the end of the day, may expenses din ang hosts. We have employees. We have cleaners. We pay rent and mortgages. We pay electricity, water, WiFi, supplies, maintenance, permits, taxes and everything else needed to keep the property running.
Kaya hindi pwedeng guests lang palagi ang kino-consider.
Instead of continuously complaining about the system, we BUILT OUR OWN
This is one of the biggest reasons why we built Ala Cinco / Ala Cinco PH into our own booking website and branding….. alacinco.com
But its not just for us…soon it will also be a platform where property owners can have more control over their business, pricing, marketing, bookings, and guests.
Hindi lang para sa sarili naming properties.
We’re building this for other resort, villa, condo, hotel and staycation owners too eventually not just in the Philippines, but around the world. 🌎
Because without hosts, there are no listings.
Without properties, there are no bookings.
And without the people actually operating these properties, there is no platform.
