Things to know:
Summary:
Shell Residences is a modern tropical building complex sprawling at the 2.2-hectare land area near Mall of Asia and the airport. It has a wonderful ambiance, outdoors space, and neighborhood. It is the perfect place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) complete with an Intercom system for easy access to the reception.
The Trip:
The Space:
A fully furnished 30sqm, 1 bedroom unit, self-catering accommodation. The unit is on the 15th floor of Tower D, which has an accessible balcony amenities. An outstanding fireworks display can be seen every Fridays and Saturdays (7 pm).
It is a very accessible place near SM Mall of Asia complex and Ninoy Aquino International Airport. It also has an Intercom system for easy access to the reception.
The unit can accommodate 2 to a maximum of 4 people. The bedroom is equipped with a Queen size Elite Theraposture bed for maximum comfort, a 1.5HP split type inverter air-conditioning system, stylish curtains, 4 large pillows, soft hotel quality duvet and bed linens, a wardrobe cabinet, and a modern type lighting.
The living area has a large and very comfortable L-shaped sofa bed to accommodate extra guests, a 32" inch tv and a zigma rack complete with unique designs.
The kitchenette features a mobile 4-seater extendable dining table, refrigerator, complete dishware, cookware, kitchen utensils and kitchen wares including an electric kettle.
The bathroom is fitted 2 shower heads and bidet for the toilet.

Interaction with Guests:
The place will be unhosted, however, a representative can pick you up from the airport (with extra charge) or will be meeting the guests upon arrival, assist with the check-in, handover the keys and give a short tour and introduction to the unit and facilities. The guest coordinator will also help out with other concerns/requests (within reasons) and during checking out.
Other things to note:
Please send a copy of 1 valid I.D. of all guests to my email 1 week before arrival as per property management rules. For instant bookings, please bring a photocopy of valid I.D for all guests. Thank you.
Only the tenant's family members may enjoy the pool area for free and an extra fee of 150 pesos/ person on regular days and 300 pesos / person during holidays for visitors.
This unit is best suited for 2 persons only but we can accommodate up to 4 people. The other 2 can sleep on the sofa bed (which is very comfy and large).
Checking in and checking out is flexible depending on the time of arrival of a new guest and the time of leaving of the previous guest. On tight schedules, we will stick to the agreed upon check-in and checkout time as advertised.

The Neighborhood:
Overview:
Shell Residence is a 2.2km or 8-minute walk to the SM Mall of Asia (one of the largest mall in the Philippines and in Asia), SM Arena, SMX Convention Center, and Two E-com Center.
It is also near the Manila Bay, world class casinos like Solaire and City of Dreams, Star City ( an amusement park), World Trade Center, and Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
It is 4 to 5. 2 km away (a 30-minute drive to 1 hr due to traffic at times) from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 1 and 3.
There are restaurants and other shops just on the ground floor of the building called the strip, and some neighboring shops that are walking distance.
Getting Around:
From Airport: You can take the yellow metered airport taxis in the arrival extensions. You can also get a taxi from the app UBER and GRAB taxi. You can download the apps from Play store for Android phones and Apple Appstore for Apple iPhones.
Sim cards: you can get free travel sim cards in the airport and preload it there so you can have mobile internet while in the country. You can choose from either SMART or GLOBE Telecom for network providers.
The best way to get around is getting a taxi from UBER or Grab taxi.
Going to Solaire, City of Dreams and Resorts World:
There are free shuttle services from SM Mall of Asia.
