Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
2. Establish a chart of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
3. Review and check the monthly reports on bank reconciliation statements, subsidiary ledgers, adjusting journal entries, and others.
4. Consolidate the monthly and quarterly schedule of Financial Statements.
5. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
6. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
7. Keep updating the company on the latest regulation requirements of BIR, SEC, and such.
8. Record information on company assets such as real property inventories, chattel, and equipment which include property description, acquisition value, etc.
9. Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
10. Supervise, support, and guide Accounting Staff and Bookkeepers in their recording of all financial transactions in the accounting books.
Enforce approved company rules, policies, and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduate of Accountancy.
2. Knowledge in Finance and Accounting principles.
3. With at least five (5) years experience in the field or in a related area.
4. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, and practices, and procedures.
