Akala ng iba, kapag LEADER ka, puro PERKS.
Recognition, influence, opportunities, at nasa harap ka palagi.
What I realized habang tumatagal ako sa leadership, mas naiintindihan ko na every privilege comes with a price.
The perk is you get to lead people.
The price is you have to grow before you can ask them to grow.
The perk is people trust your decisions.
The price is you carry the weight of those decisions.
The perk is seeing your people win.
The price is staying when things get difficult, having the hard conversations, and sometimes putting their needs ahead of your comfort.
What I found out is that Leadership is never about what you can get from your people.
It’s about what Leaders are willing to carry so others will rise, papunta sa pangarap nilang buhay.
And maybe that’s the real reward of leadership.
It’s becoming the kind of person who can help other people become better, too.
The perks may attract you to leadership.
But your willingness to pay the price is what makes you a true leader. 💙
