"I’ve been with Ortigas Land for a total of 11 years already (3 years as project hire and 8 years as direct hire). Prior to joining Ortigas Land, I worked the night shift for different BPO companies for 5 years. When I decided to change my working schedule, an opportunity came when my architect sister who was then working for a 3rd party Consultant in Ortigas Land referred me to this company as Admin Assistant of Construction Management Department (CMD). It was really a different environment for me. As years passes, I was able to learn and understand the processes and technical terms in construction.

One of the memorable experiences I had was when my former boss entrusted me with the finalization of our department’s process flow. I was able to coordinate and collaborate with the Business Process Management Department which allowed its use department wide. Aside from this, I was able to witness significant milestones of our projects - from the groundbreaking ceremony of Maple at Verdant, CV Bridge, Galleon Offices, Olin to the topping off ceremony of the Residences at the Galleon. It was really proud moment for me, being part of the construction of these projects.

For me, “One Heritage” means one principle and that is having malasakit in everything that you do. I see this in each member of our team doing their best and working hard to deliver high-quality projects on schedule so Ortigas Land can continuously build great places for life. So that our future generations will have “One Tomorrow” which is living in a safe place, being more productive and enjoying every space in our community.

As I look back, I realize Ortigas Land is the company where I have stayed the longest. One reason is the benefits we receive, but even more important is the joy I feel every day doing my job as a Senior Project Coordinator. Now that Ortigas Land is celebrating its 95th year, I am proud to be part of it and excited to witness even more project milestones in the future."

“I have been with Ortigas Land for 16 years. I started on January 10, 2010, as outsourced staff through AMCOM, and was absorbed as a regular employee in 2014. I gave my full effort to every task, constantly learned, and contributed to the team. My dedication was recognized and I have earned their full approval to be hired permanently last 2014 - This regular appointment marked a major milestone for me — and I have continued to grow and serve this prestigious company ever since.

When I joined CMD department back in 2010, I was the one solely handling the entire Admin section. Back then, I took the initiative to design and set up our internal processes, specifically to make our file management and storage system much more organized and efficient — and what I built back then is still being used and followed by the team up to this day.

I also went through a very challenging period early in my career that stands out as a major milestone. I had a strict and demanding superior, and at times I felt so drained and discouraged that I considered quitting. Instead, I chose to rise to the challenge — I put in full effort and attention to every task, ensuring everything was done correctly. Eventually, I earned his respect and complete trust. This experience taught me that I am fully capable of handling any responsibility or pressure that comes my way.

Since then, working with my subsequent and current superiors has been very meaningful. I am grateful for their guidance and directions that have contributed to my growth - thanks to my co-workers as well . These paved the way for me to efficiently handle administrative work, lead the team, manage daily operations, and make key process decisions - their confidence in me means so much to me.

What I value most is how the company treats us like family, not just employees. Over the years, my quality of life has improved greatly, and I’ve achieved my goals for myself and my family. Working with diverse people helped me grow and build confidence — I am now able to deliver my best and perform well in any situation. All of this is thanks to the stability and opportunities I’ve found here at Ortigas Land.

Ortigas Land Celebrates 95 Years: One Heritage. One Tomorrow. ✨

"My journey with Ortigas Land started 23 years ago as an Executive Assistant in the newly organized Real Estate Department. At that time, I took a leap of faith by opening myself to new opportunities, and by what felt like perfect timing and fate, I was officially hired on January 28, 2003.

One of the most memorable parts of my early years was assisting my supervisors in handling the remaining assets of Ortigas Land. Through those experiences, I learned the importance of teamwork, dedication, and building good relationships with clients.

In 2009, when Circulo Verde, the first pre-selling condominium project of Ortigas Land, was launched, I was transferred to the Sales Department as a Broker Relations Specialist, helping introduce the project to brokers and establish the company in the condominium industry.

One of the proudest moments in my career was in 2011 when I became one of the four employees chosen to take the first Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Through hard work and the support of Ortigas Land, all four of us passed the examination. As recognition, we received an award and an overseas seminar opportunity in Singapore.

In 2012, I became part of the Customer Relations Unit – Handover for Majorca Residences, Ibiza Tower, Seville Residences, Lleida Tower and Avila North & South Tower at Circulo Verde, where I handled unit inspections, turnovers, and client concerns. This strengthened my passion for customer service and client relations.

In 2015, I was honored with the Excellence in Customer Relations Award (Gaang Ka-Trabaho), which reminded me of the importance of sincerity, commitment, and teamwork.

During the pandemic, we adapted through innovation by introducing Virtual Unit Handovers using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Viber to continue serving unit owners safely and efficiently.

In 2018, I made one of the best decisions in my life by investing in my own unit at Circulo Verde. More than an investment, it became a symbol of my journey, hard work, and dreams for the future.

As I prepare for retirement, my heartfelt wish is for Ortigas Land to continue growing, flourishing, and developing more successful projects in the years to come. For me, “One Tomorrow” means growth, hope, and a brighter future built through unity, dedication, and shared success.

Looking back, I am truly grateful for the opportunities, lessons, friendships, and memories that shaped both my career and personal life. Ortigas Land will always hold a special place in my heart."
