Real estate, environmental planning course opens March 14

The Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Associations Inc. (CREBA), in cooperation with the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde School of Professional and Continuing Education (DLS-CSB SPACE), opens its third certificate course entitled, “Real Estate and Environmental Planning” on March 14.

Classes will be held at the ninth floor of the Angelo King International Conference Center at Arellano Street cor. Estrada Street, Malate, Manila from 1 to 7:30 p.m. and will run for six consecutive Saturdays until April 25.

The course is the third of six modules under the full-year Diploma Program in Real Estate Management which has been offered since 2002.

The following are the topics and lecturers for the first to third week: Introduction to Environmental Planning and Land Use Planning: CLUP by Prof. Roque Arrieta Magno; Urban Design & Planning by Architect Maria Theresa L. Quimpo;

Philippine Planning and Implementation System, Strategic Planning and implementation: Urban Planning Context by Dra. Maribeth R. Bravo; Utilization of Public Domain & Protection of Natural Resources by Atty. Ernesto C. Perez; Water Supply and Sanitation by Engr. Carlito M. Santos; and Solid Waste Management by Dra. Alma Bella P. Madrazo.

Other courses cover real estate marketing and brokerage, laws & regulations, appraisal & property management, among others.
