Christ is not only someone we encounter in prayer. He is someone we become for one another.

During our May 2026 Culture Day Thanksgiving Mass, Fr. Erwin "Bok" Arandia anchored us in a truth that is both simple and demanding: a heart that has learned to notice God in everything cannot help but notice Him in every person. Through three movements. finding God, recognizing Christ in others, and becoming Christ for them, he drew a clear line from awareness to action, and from worship to service.

As we go forward, our challenge now is to lead by example, to show up for the people around us the way Christ showed up for the world.

Two ways to read the same words. One pause that changes everything.

From "God is nowhere" to "God is now here."

At our May 2026 Culture Day Soul Session, Dr. Ma. Maricel S. Ibita guided us into the Ignatian truth at the heart of Finding God in All Things: that God has never stopped showing up. Through the Gospel of Mark and the story of Jesus on his very first day of ministry, she reminded us that God is present not only in the church or the retreat house, but in the busy hallway, the difficult spreadsheet, and the ordinary desk we sit at every day.

The question she left us with is one worth sitting with long after the session ended: if God is already here, what is stopping us from seeing Him? 💛

As we welcome the month of Flores de Mayo, the Santacruzan, and the joyful spirit of the Filipino fiesta, we also welcome Integrity as our CHRISTUDE value for May.

Integrity is the choice to be honorably courageous and consistent in conducting ourselves with wholeness, honesty, and fairness. Guided by the charism of Finding God in All Things and grounded in the competence of Gratitude, this month invites us to look at the ordinary moments of our work and our lives and ask: am I showing up as someone others can trust?

Like the Santacruzan that fills our streets with beauty, meaning, and pride, may our integrity this month be a witness to the values we hold and the mission we carry. 💛

This April, our competence of Stewardship in Service invites us to look honestly at the gifts, talents, and resources entrusted to us and ask: am I using these well? Am I giving my best so that others may have more?

That is the standard. And it is one worth living by. 💛

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀?

Last April 22, our GEO Mr. Jacinto C. Ng, Jr. spoke at the Saint Jude Catholic School Alumni Association's Leaders' Circle: Stewards of Impact at The Manila House, BGC, sharing the Joy~Nostalg story with a gathering of Judenite CEOs, executives, and business leaders.

He spoke about what it means to build a business not around profit, but around purpose. About how placing the poor Filipino family at the center of everything changed not just a business model, but thousands of lives. About zero equity housing, NING*NING, and a mission that continues to grow beyond what anyone imagined when it began.

His challenge to the room was as much an invitation as it was a call to action: the poor are experiencing less and less of us. And we, the ones blessed with talent, resources, and formation, are the ones called to respond.

To love like Christ. To lead like stewards. To build for others. 💛

This is why we work.

At our April 2026 Culture Day, our GEO Mr. Jacinto C. Ng, Jr. shared stories of dignity restored, responsibility chosen, and a mission that continues to grow far beyond what any of us imagined when it began.

From the families who now have the courage to speak up because they finally have a home of their own, to a deeply personal reflection on what it truly means to be a Man for Others, his message was a reminder that the work we do is never just about buildings.

It is about people. It always has been. 💛
