During our September Culture Day Soul Session, Rev. Fr. Joseph Walter Villamiel invited us to see our everyday work through a different lens: as a mission.

Being an apostle does not always mean being sent somewhere far. We are already sent into our workplaces, families, communities, and the different roles entrusted to us.

Often, mission is lived in the quiet things: doing good work even when no one notices, using our abilities to serve, choosing unity over division, and letting what we receive from God overflow into the lives of others.

Our work is more than a path toward excellence. It can also serve a mission greater than ourselves.

We’re grateful to the Department of Energy for recognizing the NING*NING Solar Project as one of the country’s landmark clean energy milestones.

Built across Pasinaya Homes, NING*NING shows how renewable energy can support the government’s push for a more secure, sustainable, and resilient energy future while also creating added value within socialized housing communities.

For Joy~Nostalg, this is where energy and housing come together: using innovation not only to contribute to the country’s clean energy transition, but also to support our mission of helping more Filipino families move closer to homeownership.

Furthering President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of a more sustainable, secure, and resilient energy future for the Philippines, we celebrate a PROUDLY PINOY milestone that demonstrates how Filipino industries can embrace innovation while advancing the clean energy transition.

Among the landmark achievements are the NING*NING Solar Project, the Philippines’ first grid-connected, utility-scale solar rooftop project in a socialized housing community, with a 6.55 MWp capacity across 1,986 homes, and the Carmen Copper Floating Solar Project, the Philippines’ first megawatt-scale floating solar facility, with a 4.996 MW capacity.

Together, these milestones reinforce the Philippines' position at the forefront of clean energy innovation, strengthening the country's energy security, attracting quality investments, and delivering lasting benefits to every Filipino.
