“I have been with Ortigas Land for 16 years. I started on January 10, 2010, as outsourced staff through AMCOM, and was absorbed as a regular employee in 2014. I gave my full effort to every task, constantly learned, and contributed to the team. My dedication was recognized and I have earned their full approval to be hired permanently last 2014 - This regular appointment marked a major milestone for me — and I have continued to grow and serve this prestigious company ever since.
When I joined CMD department back in 2010, I was the one solely handling the entire Admin section. Back then, I took the initiative to design and set up our internal processes, specifically to make our file management and storage system much more organized and efficient — and what I built back then is still being used and followed by the team up to this day.
I also went through a very challenging period early in my career that stands out as a major milestone. I had a strict and demanding superior, and at times I felt so drained and discouraged that I considered quitting. Instead, I chose to rise to the challenge — I put in full effort and attention to every task, ensuring everything was done correctly. Eventually, I earned his respect and complete trust. This experience taught me that I am fully capable of handling any responsibility or pressure that comes my way.
Since then, working with my subsequent and current superiors has been very meaningful. I am grateful for their guidance and directions that have contributed to my growth - thanks to my co-workers as well . These paved the way for me to efficiently handle administrative work, lead the team, manage daily operations, and make key process decisions - their confidence in me means so much to me.
What I value most is how the company treats us like family, not just employees. Over the years, my quality of life has improved greatly, and I’ve achieved my goals for myself and my family. Working with diverse people helped me grow and build confidence — I am now able to deliver my best and perform well in any situation. All of this is thanks to the stability and opportunities I’ve found here at Ortigas Land.
