Today, as Mr. Lance Gokongwei remember his father, John Gokongwei, Jr., on what would've been his 100th birthday.

As a young boy in Cebu, Dad sold soap, candles, and thread in the market before dawn. Later, he crossed the sea by batel to Manila to sell his wares, eventually building a modest trading business that would grow into the Gokongwei Group.

Through every stage of his life, he worked tirelessly to build businesses that make quality products and services accessible to every Filipino.

Dad often reminded us that success comes from hard work, perseverance, and the courage to keep moving forward, even when the path becomes more difficult.

Those lessons continue to guide our family and everyone across the group. His legacy lives on in the businesses he built, the values he passed on, and the countless lives he touched.

Happy 100th birthday, Dad. We think of you always, and we remain grateful for the example you set for all of us.

Wow.

That was Nicole Hernandez’s exact reaction stepping into Velaris Residences.

Because some places don’t need convincing. They just hit you the moment you arrive. From the modern villas in the sky, to the quiet luxury of private elevators for select 2-bedroom units and larger suites, everything feels intentionally designed to impress without trying too hard.

The 40-storey North Tower offers spacious living spaces ranging from 77 sqm to 274 sqm, but what truly stands out is how every square meter feels thoughtful, elevated, and alive.

And then you explore further. A Japanese Sento. A creative studio. A golf simulator. Sculpture garden. Treetop playground. Camping grounds. Courts for badminton and pickleball. It starts to feel less like a condominium and more like a private world built for its residents.

One word says it all.

Wow.

When someone like Rajo Laurel experiences Velaris Residences’ North Tower, it speaks for itself.

There’s a certain kind of quiet confidence here. The kind you don’t need to explain because you feel it the moment you step in. From the refined architecture to the thoughtfully designed spaces, every detail feels intentional, elevated, and effortless.

Velaris, meaning the best kept secret, is no longer just a secret. It is a statement of modern luxury living in the heart of C-5 Megalopolis. A place where design, comfort, and exclusivity meet in perfect balance.

And once you’ve been here, you don’t just visit. You understand why it stands apart.
