“When I look back, it’s hard to believe that I’ve already been with Ortigas Land for 1 year and 4 months. I joined on April 14, 2025, without really knowing what this journey would look like or how much this company would become a part of my growth.
I was invited by my best friend, who was working at Handover Management Department (HMD) at the time. I originally applied for a Handover Architect position, thinking that was where my experience would fit best. But after my interview, I was introduced to Sales Channel Management—a position created specifically around my background and what I could bring to the company. Looking back, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. It felt like I was meant to find my way into this role.
Of course, before my first day, I had my doubts. There were so many “what ifs” running through my mind. What if I don’t know how to do the work? What if I can’t meet their expectations? What if I’m not good enough? But as the days turned into months, those questions slowly became quieter. I started learning, adjusting, and most importantly, trusting myself.
Being part of Ortigas Land has already been a milestone for me. Through this job, I discovered that I was capable of so much more than I thought. I never imagined that I could enjoy what I do this much while still growing along the way. Being in Sales has been such a fun experience because I get to meet and work with different people—contractors, suppliers, sellers, and so many others. Every person and every experience has taught me something.
That’s probably what I love most about being here. There is always something happening. There is growth, there is movement, and there is change. And when I look at myself now compared to who I was on Day 1, I can honestly say that I’ve grown in ways I never expected. I’ve gained not only experience, but also confidence in what I can do and what I can contribute.
For me, “One Heritage” is about being part of something that has been built over many years and knowing that we each have a role in carrying it forward. Being part of Ortigas Land means becoming part of a story that started long before me, while also having the opportunity to add my own small chapter to it.
And that is what makes me excited about the future. I’m excited to continue discovering what else I can do, how else I can help the company, what more I can offer, and what more I can give. I don’t have all the answers yet, but I’m looking forward to finding them as I continue this journey—one tomorrow at a time.
I used to believe that a good company was RED. But now, I know it’s GREEN. Green like the color of Ortigas Land. Green like growth, possibility, and new beginnings. And I’m grateful that this is where I get to grow.

After everything I’ve experienced so far, I can say that I’m proud to now be part of the legacy you’ve built through the years. I may still have a long way to go, but I’m excited to be part of what comes next and to help carry this legacy forward in my own way.”
