Balai meaning Home and Ataw meaning Float. We name our place Balai Ataw in the hopes that it may provide our guests with a space that allows reprieve from the weight of daily pressures. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-sabi that finds beauty in imperfection, may the light and airy aesthetic make you feel welcome and the stunning sunset views from our balcony calm your soul. So visit us one of these days, embrace the transience, go with the flow and lighten your load!
