This incredible honor affirms what we Filipinos have always known: that Palawan, with its pristine turquoise waters, towering limestone cliffs, majestic underground rivers, and rich biodiversity, is truly a paradise unlike any other. From the enchanting lagoons of El Nido and Coron to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, Palawan continues to captivate the hearts of travelers from all over the world.

Under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., and through the guidance of the National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP) 2023–2028, the DOT remains steadfast in its mission to position the Philippines as a tourism powerhouse in Asia.
