JEYRICK SIGMATON - AN INTERNATIONALLY-ACCLAIMED ACTOR BY THE IFFM NEW YORK
Igorot actor Jeyrick "Carrotman" Sigmaton won the Best Actor for the International Film Festival Manhattan Autumn 2021 in New York (IFFM) for the short film “DAYAS”.

This is the first time an Igorot actor was chosen as Best Actor in the history of the IFFM New York, a testament that Cordilleran talents are among the best in the world.

Si Jeyrick ay isa sa mga Igorot celebrity na napakaproud sa kanyang heritage. Sabi niya sa isang interview "Sobrang proud po ako na maging isang Igorot dahil kakaiba ang aming kultura at paniniwala. Proud din ako na nakilala ‘yung picture ko dahil du’n nagkaroon ulit ng interest ang mga tao sa Mountain Province at saka sa mga Igorot,”

Sabi pa niya "Wherever life takes you, never forget where you came from, never forget your culture.”
