EXTRAORDINARY
"My father Danilo Domingo Diaz, no doubt, has the criteria of being the EXTRAORDINARY dad in the world. Having 6 children, he worked the hardest in the family. Every job possible, he did all of them. I am proud that despite striving really hard and yet everything seems to be as difficult as it is, he remained pure and honest. He never thought of quitting and going on with the easy way. We should have felt the worst kind of lives children would experience, but he never let that happen. He stood by us and raised us with all honesty. He worked with blurry vision and weakened body, but still did everything in an honest way. We may go to school with empty pockets but we have everything that we need. We have food, drink, and tidy clothes. Best of all, we carry something that not all has when they go out. We have a happy heart, it is from the joy that our father gives us at home.
He worked as a farmer, vendor, and "kargador". Sometimes he does all of them simultaneously. After farming the next day he will sell vegetables. A day after he will carry the fabric. He still does that up until now he is 60. It is impossible to say that he is poor because he is not working hard enough. He is working harder than anybody, but maybe God has a bigger plan for him. His children helps him today because of his age. Everyone has their family of their own but still if someone has something to give, we don't miss that opportunity. Even sometimes that we ourselves have nothing, we make sure that we provide for him. Despite being a senior citizen, he still works as a farmer. He says that he don't want to put burden to his children and he just wants them to focus on their family. We tried to stop him but apparently that is how he is. Even at an old age, he's still being a father to us. That just proves that "being a wife or son can stop at a certain time, but being a father will never ever end".
My father is a FARMER, and KARGADOR; and I am proud of him. I am not ashamed of him instead I am proud to tell the world his story.
To my father who is my hero, I want you to know that I appreciate everything that you have done for me. I will be always here for you whenever you need help. I will take care of you for as long as I can and will always cherish every moment that we have. I may not have more than enough what I can give but rest assured that I will never let you down and will look after you. You have been and is still being a father to me 365 days a year. You have been there and guided me, now this is my turn to take good care of you in return. I love you so much"
