During his interview with the celebrity Youtube vlogger Ogie Diaz, Mr. Gomez shared his experience in real estate investing. He explained his understanding on how you can earn by acquiring properties.

These words explains a lot on how investment works in real estate.
The common problem with some property investors, especially those who are investing for the first time, is they tend to look at the whole price of the property, and turn down the offer once it exceeded the price range they are looking for.
Always remember, when doing property investment, the goal is to rent it out or sell it on a higher price at a certain time. You can rent out your property while paying the mortgage. In this case, you don't have to pay the NET PRICE of the property, you just need to pay the equity or the down payment.
So whether it's a seven or an eight figure worth of property, you can still afford it. You can still have your own property that generates income. You just have to listen and understand how to properly do it.
