WHEN REJECTION BECOMES REDIRECTION
Sometimes, rejection hurts because we thought that person, opportunity, relationship, job, or dream was meant for us.
We prayed for it. We worked for it. We hoped for it. We imagined our future with it.
And then suddenly, the answer was “No.”
But what if that rejection wasn't the end of your story?
What if God was using that closed door to redirect you toward something you couldn't see yet?
Not every rejection is a punishment. Sometimes, it is protection. Sometimes, it is preparation. And sometimes, it is God's way of moving you away from something that was never part of His plan for you.
People may reject you because they don't see your value. They may overlook you because they don't recognize what God is developing in you. They may say you're not good enough, not qualified enough, or not what they're looking for.
But remember: people's rejection does not determine God's purpose for your life.
Joseph was rejected by his own brothers, but God used that painful journey to place him in a position where he could save many lives.
David was overlooked by his own family when Samuel came looking for the future king. Yet God saw what others failed to see.
Jesus Himself was rejected by men, yet that rejection became part of God's greater plan for salvation.
So don't allow rejection to convince you that you are worthless.
Don't let a closed door make you believe that God has abandoned you.
Sometimes, God closes a door because He knows where that door leads.
Sometimes, He allows people to walk away because He knows they cannot go where He is taking you.
And sometimes, the thing you desperately wanted is exactly the thing God is asking you to surrender.
You may not understand it today.
You may cry over it.
You may question why it happened.
But keep trusting God.
Because you only see the rejection; God sees the redirection.
📖 Romans 8:28 KJV
«“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”»
So if you've been rejected, don't give up.
Pray. Learn. Grow. Keep moving.
The door that closed behind you may be the reason you finally discover the door God has prepared ahead of you.
What rejected you may not have been your destination. It may have been your redirection.
Keep trusting God. Your story isn't over.
