FYI | Electronic Notarization Is Now Here
The Supreme Court of the Philippines has officially introduced electronic notarization (eNotarization), marking another major step toward the digital transformation of legal and public services. Under the new system, eligible documents in PDF or PDF/A format may now be notarized electronically, allowing principals and witnesses to appear physically, virtually, or through a combination of both methods. The initiative is expected to make notarial services more accessible, efficient, secure, and convenient for Filipinos both in the country and abroad.
For the real estate sector, this development could significantly simplify the processing of lease agreements, authorizations, affidavits, and other essential documents. At iBoard Living, we continue to explore technologies that make property transactions easier for landlords, tenants, and overseas Filipinos, proving that innovation is not only changing the way we work but also the way we find and manage our homes.
