2013
After a commendable career as an engineer with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), our CEO, Engr. Giles Miranda, embarked on his personal construction endeavors and interior fit-out solutions, initially focusing on projects for relatives, friends, and close associates. This period allowed him to hone his skills in independent project management and client relations within the private sector.
2013
Following her own retirement, Engr. Marieta Velasco, our President and Chief Financial Officer, ventured into the engineering consultancy field. Her extensive experience provided valuable insights into project feasibility, financial management, and strategic planning, complementing Engr. Miranda's practical construction background.
2025
Driven by a shared vision for delivering superior interior fit-out solutions, Engr. Giles Miranda, Engr. Marieta Velasco, and Engr. Leo Coronado made the strategic decision to establish MGL Horizon Builders Corporation formally. Engr. Leo Coronado brought significant expertise as one of the leading interior fit-out contractors in the Middle East, enriching the collective knowledge base with international best practices and a diverse portfolio of successful projects. This pivotal moment marks the culmination of their individual professional journeys, uniting them into a unified entity poised to bring their extensive expertise and unwavering dedication to a broader clientele in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and beyond.
